COVID-19 RELATED QUESTIONS

Q: How is Lutrell's Eyewear maintaining a safe environment for customers?
A: Your safety and the safety of all of our customers and staff is of paramount concern to us.  Every morning we set up blue benches outside of our doors for those who would feel more comfortable not coming inside the store.  We will gladly meet you outside to discuss your needs, bring frames to you, etc.

Q: What if I ordered frames but am unable to come to pick them up?
A: If you live nearby in the Bearden area, I may be able to deliver them to you.  Over the past several weeks I've made deliveries to my customers at work, home or assisted living places when needed. We can mail your glasses to you.  If delivery is not an option, we can hold them or work out something that works best for you.  Just contact us, and we'll see what we can do.

SALES QUESTIONS

Q: I’ve never purchased frames before. What will my experience be like?
A: First, let me say what your experience will not be like. It will not be like the discount stores that have a wall of frames in a sterile-feeling environment with workers who seemed bothered by your presence.  Being an eyeglass wearer myself, I was tired of having those same types of experiences, which is why I opened my shop determined to make the process much more enjoyable. I will spend the time to show you what looks best on you based on the latest trends, fit, color, prescription, and budget.

When you come to Luttrell’s Eyewear, you’ll immediately see that we want you to feel welcome.  From our décor to our sofas to our soft music to our flattering lighting, we want your experience to be a comfortable one.  Take your time. Look around.  Sit on a sofa, grab some candy from the candy bowl, and take some pictures to send to your friends and family for their input. You can just relax and we'll bring the frames we recommend to you, or we can browse together to find your dream frames.

We’re here to help you find the perfect frames for you, so don’t be shy about asking any questions that you may have.  We can also give you some advice depending on your needs and unique situation.  For example, do you like to sit in a recliner and watch TV across the room?  If so, then bifocals or progressive lenses may cause issues in that situation, as the viewing angle may force you to try to see the TV through a part of your lens not designed for viewing at that distance. That’s just one example of the advice that comes from having 30 years of experience in the industry.  Not only can we answer your questions, but we can help you with questions you didn’t even know to ask. Come check us out and see for yourself how more relaxed, enjoyable, and informative the Luttrell’s Eyewear experience is from the rest.

Q: If I see a frame on a manufacturer’s site, can you get it?
A:
Often times we can.  The manufacturers we carry offer high quality, high fashion frames, though on occasion a manufacturer of quality frames may make a lesser frame that they distribute to the discount eyewear shops.  If you see a frame you like somewhere else made by one of the brands we carry, just give us a call at (865) 588-4052.  If we can order it, we’ll let you know.  If it’s a lesser quality frame with issues that you need to know about, we’ll tell you that, too.  And if it appears to be a great frame that we just can’t get, we’ll share that with you as well.  Our goal is to help you find a great frame that you’re going to be happy with for years.  We hope that will be a frame we carry, but if it’s not then that’s okay, too.  While I may lose a sale here or there, I truly believe that being honest with customers will serve me far better in the long run.  So, if you find something you’re curious about, give us a call and we’ll give you an honest answer that helps you get in the right frame regardless of who sells it to you.

Q: If I order frames, how long will they take to be ready?
A:
Typically your frames will be ready in 2 to 10 business days depending on if we have the frame in house or have to order it from the manufacturer.  Once we have the frame and fitted with your lenses, we will ensure that they are properly made to your individual measurements and call you to come in for final adjustments.  We want to make sure that when you leave that you have frames that are perfectly customized to you.

Q: Do you take insurance?
A:
We don't accept any vision plans. We have several customers with vision plans who purchase their frames from us and then file a claim themselves for reimbursement.

Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
A:
We accept cash, check, Visa, Mastercard, and Discover.

Q: I broke my glasses. Can you fix them?
A:
Depending on how severe the issue is, we may be able to help.  Sometimes the issues are small that we can fix them in house, while other times the issue may be beyond repair.  Just stop by the shop, and we’ll take a look at them to see what can be done. You can also text a picture of the glasses to 865-405-1902.
